Required qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• ER experience or recent acute care background preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC preferred

Core responsibilities

• Triage and rapidly assess patients on arrival
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly report changes to physicians and team members
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge/follow-up plans
• Contribute to ED quality improvement and safety initiatives
