Join our team as a Field Registered Nurse providing skilled home and community-based care in Battle Creek, MI. This contract/travel opportunity starts ASAP and follows a weekend day schedule (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM–11:00 PM). Compensation: $1,860 per 40-hour week.
Requirements:
- Active RN license and graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification required
- Previous home health or field nursing experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong assessment, time-management, and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care in patient homes and community settings
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and other ordered treatments
- Monitor patient progress and document encounters in the EMR
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and care plans
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Travel between patient locations as required
