- Knowledge of endoscopy prep and procedures preferred
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing support in a gastroenterology clinic
- Obtain vital signs, histories, and patient assessments
- Assist with GI procedures and diagnostic testing
- Administer medications and injections as ordered
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures
- Educate patients on prep instructions and follow-up care
- Monitor patients and report changes in condition
- Document care and procedures in the EMR
