Minimum Requirements
- Active LPN license in Montana
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Previous pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide family-centered care
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients according to scope of practice
- Obtain vital signs and perform age-appropriate assessments
- Administer medications and immunizations as ordered
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
- Educate parents and caregivers on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
- Monitor patient condition, report changes to the care team, and escalate as needed
- Support daily care needs and patient comfort
- Accurately document care and interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR)
