Position summary
- Registered Nurse (Long Term Care) — Contract/Travel
- Start: ASAP
- Location: Hot Springs, SD
- Shift: Varied
- Pay: $1,976 / 36 hours
Requirements
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- BLS required
- Additional certifications in geriatric or long-term care nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills
Key responsibilities
- Assess and monitor resident conditions and vital signs
- Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions safely and per policy
- Develop, implement, and follow individualized care plans
- Educate residents and families on health management and care plans
- Accurately document care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
