Requirements:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED)

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and environmental factors to identify limitations and establish goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), independence, and functional performance
• Recommend, fit, and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Instruct and practice ADLs and adaptive techniques with patients to build skills and independence
• Educate patients and families on condition management and independence strategies
• Monitor, document, and update patient progress and treatment plans; maintain accurate evaluations and progress notes
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support discharge planning and community/work reintegration
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and participate in professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
