Travel RN — Med-Surg/Ortho Nights (7p-7a) | Lewiston, ME | Contract

We’re looking for a skilled RN to join a team in Lewiston, ME on a travel contract. This is a night shift position (7p–7a) starting ASAP. The assignment focuses on Med-Surg and Orthopedics, including post-op and joint replacement care. Pay is $2,424 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Registered Nurse license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
• At least 1 year of recent Med-Surg and/or Orthopedic nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred

What you’ll do:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Provide post-operative and orthopedic care, including joint replacement recovery
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments
• Monitor vital signs, pain, wound status, and neurovascular integrity
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, and use of assistive devices
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, mobility restrictions, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Recognize and escalate changes in patient condition as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
