Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Stockton, CA | 14-week Contract, Competitive Pay & 8AM–4:30PM

We’re seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Stockton, CA for a 14-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. You’ll work a typical schedule from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and play a hands-on role helping patients regain independence and improve daily function.

What you’ll do:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities as well as their environments to identify limitations and set realistic goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the broader healthcare team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and increase independence.
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Teach and practice daily living activities (self-care, home management, etc.) to build practical skills.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to promote independence.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Communicate and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment.
• Maintain thorough, accurate patient records including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients’ transitions back into their communities and workplaces.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Valid and active Occupational Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must include AED).

Compensation:

• Travel rate: $1,876 per 35-hour week
• Local rate: $1,848 per 35-hour week
