Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Nights | St. Johnsbury, VT (36-hr)

Location: St. Johnsbury, VT
Assignment: Contract/Travel — Start: ASAP
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (36-hour week)
Rate: $1,976 / 36 hours

Requirements:

• Active RN license in practicing state
• Medical-surgical experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (depending on patient population)
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Perform focused and ongoing patient assessments; monitor vital signs and clinical status
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per protocol
• Accurately document care, assessments, and changes in condition in the chart
• Communicate changes and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Participate in unit workflows and handoffs to ensure continuity and quality of care
