Patient Population
- Adults in IOP/PHP behavioral health programs
- Admissions required; typical program census
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric evaluations
- Provide medication management
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for IOP/PHP patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams
- Complete timely, accurate documentation of all encounters
Facility & Support
- Standard outpatient behavioral health resources and support staff available
- Behavioral health specialty backup on site
- Coverage is temporary
Privileges & Compliance
- Hospital privileges required
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided per facility guidelines
Qualifications
- Active CT medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- DEA registration required
- Experience in behavioral health and IOP/PHP settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
