Travel RN — Main OR Surgical Services (Chico, CA) | $2,984/40h, ASAP Start

We’re looking for a skilled RN to join a Surgical Services/Main OR team in Chico, CA on a contract/travel basis. This is an ASAP start, 40-hour assignment with a pay rate of $2,984 per 40-hour week.

Who you are:

• An active, licensed RN in the practicing state who’s comfortable in the surgical environment.
• Ideally you have perioperative or OR experience; CNOR or other specialty certifications are a plus.
• You bring strong clinical judgment, solid organizational habits, and clear communication skills.
• BLS is required.

What you’ll do:

• Get the OR and patients ready for surgery — set up instruments, supplies, and the environment to maintain a safe, sterile field.
• Serve as circulator or scrub during procedures, supporting the surgeon and surgical team as needed.
• Continuously monitor patient status, administer medications safely, and maintain strict sterile technique.
• Accurately document care, procedure details, and patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about pre- and post-operative care and answer their questions with clarity and compassion.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the rest of the OR staff to ensure smooth, efficient patient care.
