Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) — Supervisor, Adult Behavioral Health (ACT Team)

Full-time position in Southgate, MI. Start: ASAP. Shift: Days, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM. Weekend coverage as required by program.

Requirements and qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work and full Michigan LMSW licensure required.
• Minimum two years’ experience working with adults with serious mental illness.
• Experience in community mental health settings, supervisory roles, and working on ACT teams highly preferred.
• Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) criteria for adult programs within 120 days of hire.
• Hold a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor (CAADC) credential or be approved for a CAADC professional development plan through MCBAP within 30 days of hire. After CAADC issuance, must apply for a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) development plan through MCBAP and obtain CCS within MCBAP’s required timeframe.
• Proven competence in mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment and commitment to maintaining ACT model fidelity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams (ACT advocates, nurses, peer support specialists) and collaborate with clients, community partners, and agency staff.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; excellent organization, attention to detail, and data-tracking ability.
• Cultural competency, nonjudgmental approach, and sensitivity to diverse client and staff needs.
• Ability to appropriately manage crisis situations.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; candidates requiring visa sponsorship or on student/work visas will not be considered.
