We’re looking for a confident, independent Nurse Practitioner to join an urgent care team in Columbus, Nebraska. This is a permanent clinical role providing both inpatient and outpatient care, covering evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. You’ll step into a vacancy and provide ongoing coverage starting ASAP.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of urgent care patients.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including onsite X-rays and laboratory studies.
• Work independently while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a supportive, team-based environment.
• Document care in Greenway Intergy EMR.

Schedule and setting

• Clinical-only position (no administrative duties).
• Coverage periods: ongoing; schedule to be determined with evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Requirements

• Active Nebraska license.
• Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE).
• BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine is preferred.
