Locum Tenens Urgent Care Physician — St. Peters, MO (ASAP Ongoing; Pediatrics & Adults)

Location: Saint Peters, Missouri (coverage may include Fenton, St. Louis, Washington, Chesterfield, Clayton, Creve Coeur, Ellisville, Eureka, Festus, Florissant, Imperial, Kirkwood, Lake Saint Louis, Ballwin, O'Fallon, St. Charles, Union, Wentzville, Crestwood)

Setting: Outpatient urgent care (clinical only)
Reason for coverage: Supplemental, ASAP – ongoing

Schedule:

• Up to 24 shifts/month
• Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Sat–Sun: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Patient population and volume:

• Pediatrics and adults
• 36–48 patients per shift

Clinical scope and on-site resources:

• Minor procedures: sutures, casts, splints, etc.
• Interpretation of EKGs and x-rays
• 4 department beds
• On-site lab, x-ray, and EKG
• Support staff: 1 MA, 1 front-office staff, scribes, radiology techs
• EMR: Epic

Coverage provided: Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance

Requirements:

• Active Missouri medical license or IMLC
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (if BE, within 5 years of residency)
• BLS (AHA)
• Clean professional record
• Case logs: at least 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months
