- Patient Volume: 36,000
• Specialties: 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center
- Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month (Physicians)| 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month (mid-level)
- Number of Beds: 35 ER beds
- Acuity: Medium
- EMR: Meditech with Dragon
- ICU: Yes
- Admissions/Transfers: 14% admission rate
Qualifications
- Licensure: Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience: Prior EM experience required
- Skills & Procedures: Broad EM skills set appropriate for a critical access facility
Facility & Clinical Details
· About Lake Regional Health System: Lake Regional Health System is a 500,000 square foot, 116-bed hospital that is designated by Medicare as a Regional Referral Center. The facility features private patient rooms, a large outpatient department and a 35-bed ED. The ED is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center. The facility also features an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center. Lake Regional Health System is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a three-time recipient of the Missouri Quality Award.
