Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a brand new Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Hendersonville, TN. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern, efficient environment with strong clinical support and a flexible, long-term assignment.

Schedule

• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Times:
• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule Includes: Morning, mid, and night shifts
• Weekends/Nights: Required
• Call: None
• Assignment Length: 1 year+ (ASAP start)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform standard emergency medicine procedures
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, EKGs)
• Stabilize and coordinate transfer of higher-acuity patients when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM preferred)
• Will consider Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with ED experience
• New graduates welcome
• Active Tennessee medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Must be comfortable performing standard ED procedures
