Position Overview

Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our dynamic team at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview-HM.   • Patient Volume: ADE = 18 to 24 per day
  • Specialties: Available subspecialty support - cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery and trauma, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, gastroenterology, infectious disease and others
  • Coverage Model: Days - 8 MD (non GME), 3 MD (GME), 2 NPPA; Nights - 2 MD and 2 NPPA
  • Number of Beds: 330 hospital beds
  • Acuity: Level III Trauma Center
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Procedures: No procedures required
  • ICU: Medical ICU is closed; surgical ICU is open; covered by critical care team


Qualifications

  • Education: IM or FM residency trained
  • Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license
  • Board Certification: Board eligibility or board certification required
