A general surgery opening is available in Marion, Virginia with an established, high-performing surgical group. This position offers a broad scope of practice, access to advanced surgical technology, and strong regional support.
**About the Position**
-Full-time hospital-employed position
-Community-based general surgery practice
-Bread-and-butter case mix with diverse procedural volume
-Opportunity to build a high-volume endoscopy practice
-Access to da Vinci robotic surgical system
-Supported by a collaborative, experienced surgical team
**Practice Highlights**
-Perform comprehensive general surgery services including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
-Endoscopic procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
-Minimally invasive procedures utilizing robotic technology
-Strong collaboration with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and leadership
**Call Schedule**
-Up to 10 call shifts per month
-Additional call coverage supported by a partner group of seven surgeons based in Bristol, Tennessee

-Full range of services including surgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation, home health, skilled nursing, and long-term care
