Locums Radiation Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Radiation Oncology Physician to provide coverage in Manahawkin, NJ. This role involves a mix of outpatient clinic care with the ability to consult and treat inpatient cases as needed. The ideal candidate is experienced, board certified, and comfortable working in a busy oncology practice with modern radiation equipment.

Compensation: $250.00

Schedule

• Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
• No call requirements specified

Practice Setting

• Outpatient radiation oncology clinic with inpatient consult capability
• Hospital Privileges: Southern Ocean Medical Center
• Patient Volume: 30–40 patients on treatment per day
• EMR: Aria (preferred), Epic experience a plus

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide radiation oncology care including:
• New patient consults
• Follow-up visits
• Treatment planning and management
• Oversee and manage patients undergoing radiation therapy
• Collaborate with oncology, hospital, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide inpatient consults and treatments as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation

Equipment & Technology

• TrueBeam linear accelerator
• GE Simulation (Sim) system

Requirements & Certifications

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (current and active)
• Active New Jersey medical license
• New Jersey DEA and CDS
• Active New Jersey malpractice coverage
• Experience with Aria EMR preferred; Epic experience a plus
