Locum Tenens Radiologist

We are seeking a Board Certified Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Columbia, South Carolina. This role focuses heavily on direct patient care, with approximately 95% of time dedicated to clinical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both general diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services across multiple imaging modalities
• Interpret and perform imaging studies, including:
• Diagnostic Radiology
• Ultrasound
• Computed Tomography (CT)
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Nuclear Medicine
• Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Provide timely and accurate image interpretations to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of all procedures and interpretations
• Adhere to established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
• South Carolina medical license preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in both diagnostic and interventional radiology
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
