**Locums | Pediatric Anesthesiology | Inpatient + Call | Tacoma, WA (IMLC accepted)**
**Why This Role**
- Consistent weekday schedule with light daily case volume
- Ongoing need with pediatric cardiac anesthesia focus
- Opportunity to work in specialized pediatric setting with dedicated team
**Assignment Details**
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours + call (beeper call)
- Call ratio: 1:2 with 30-minute response time
- Setting: Inpatient
- Patient volume: Typically 1 surgery case per day; 3-4 patients during call
- Support: 3 RNs
- EMR: Epic
**Clinical Details**
- Pediatric and neonatal patient population
- Focus on pediatric cardiac anesthesia with support for cath/EP lab and cardiac imaging
- Low volume, high-acuity environment
**Requirements**
- Board Certified
- Active Washington license or IMLC
- Fellowship trained in pediatric anesthesiology
- BLS, ACLS, ABLS, PALS
- Clean history preferred for expedited privileges
**Skills Needed**
- Pediatric general anesthesia
- Open heart anesthesia
- Spinal anesthesia
- Central line and arterial line placement
- Pediatric airway and perioperative management
**Compensation**
- Facility accepting bids
- Malpractice provided
- Travel & lodging reimbursed
