Job Description
Core Clinical Partners is recruiting Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for Hospital Medicine at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Facility and Program
- 115-bed community hospital
- Average daily census: ~30
- 10-bed open ICU with tele‑intensivist support
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- Integrated Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine (same management for improved coordination and admissions)
Current Coverage Model
- Day: 1 Hospitalist Physician (7a–7p) + 1 APP (7a–7p)
- Night: 1 Nocturnist APP (7p–7a)
- Team-based daytime model; independent nocturnist coverage with physician backup
Position Options & Responsibilities
- Day APP (7a–7p, 7 on/7 off)
- Work alongside daytime hospitalist physician
- Manage admissions, rounding, and discharges
- Team-based care and cross-service coordination
- Nocturnist APP (7p–7a, 7 on/7 off)
- Independent overnight coverage with physician support available
- Manage admissions, cross-coverage, and overnight issues
- Predictable overnight workflow
Schedule
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Consistent shift structure (choose days or nights)
Qualifications
- Active NP or PA certification required
- Hospital medicine experience preferred
- Eligible for Georgia license
- ACLS certification required
