The Emergency Department averages approximately 85 patient encounters per day and operates with strong physician support and efficient clinical workflows.

  • Coverage Model:36 hours/day physician coverage
  • 24 hours/day NP/PA coverage
  • NP/PA Shifts:6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM (subject to change)

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Perform medical procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to patient flow and throughput in a high-volume setting

Candidate Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required
• Active or eligible Indiana license
• ATLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Ability to manage a broad spectrum of acute and emergent conditions
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, team-based environment
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
