Summary:

Enjoy an outpatient only practice at a hospital based practice in Mount Vernon, Washington, located just north of Seattle. Skagit Regional Health is seeking an additional Endocrinologist to complement our current team of 5.

Highlights:

  • Work alongside our two (2) physicians and three (3) nurse practitioners. Diabetes Education is embedded within the clinic space.
  • Have 1:1 dedicated MA support for your clinic day.
  • Benefit from an excellent work-life balance, with a weekday only schedule focused only on outpatient care. No inpatient call duties and ample time off.
  • This is a full time position with a 36-hour schedulable patient contact hour work expectation.
  • Our practice caters to a diverse adult patient base with a large number of diabetes management while also addressing a spectrum of other endocrine disorders.
  • Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from our own SRH Residency Programs.
  • This is a hospital employed position with support from our in-house primary and specialty care referral base.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available!

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an ACGME accredited Endocrinology fellowship program.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certification required. 
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
  • Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • First year salary guarantee: $301,743
