Job Details
Coverage type: Call only
Practice setting: Inpatient
Schedule: 4 _ 5 days per month
Call: 24 hour call coverage including weekday call
Trauma level: Level I
EMR: Epic
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
Providers requested: 1

Clinical Responsibilities
Hand surgery call coverage for trauma and emergency cases
Evaluation and management of acute hand injuries
Operative and non operative hand procedures
Inpatient consults and follow up care
Collaboration with trauma and surgical teams

Support Structure
Multidisciplinary surgical and trauma team support

Requirements
Board Certified in Hand Surgery required
Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery required
Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery with Hand Fellowship required
Active Colorado license required or IMLC eligibility
BLS certification required
Self Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
Must have availability for last two weeks of July and most of August
