Job Description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage in Illinois. This is a flexible opportunity with a mix of outpatient clinic, endoscopy, and inpatient consults, with a preference for providers who can support a balanced workload.
Assignment Overview:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00
- Minimum of 5 consecutive shifts per month
- No weekend coverage required, possible night call
- General GI care for acute and chronic conditions
- New patient access, endoscopies, and hospital consults
- Outpatient support and ambulatory scopes required
- Group will coordinate call expectations
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Illinois medical license
- ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
