Highlights:

• Office located in MOB is connected to Valley Baptist Hospital, walking distance to Hosp OR 
• 2-3 days in clinic and OR block times, able to adjust as needed
• Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5pm
• 70/30% IP/OP
• Est 7 call days/month

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training or extensive experience 
• Trauma Certification is a plus

This position carries privileges at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen, a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center and regional leader in comprehensive care, with the potential for privileges at our sister facility in Harlingen.

Cardiology Resources: Four Cath Lab Suites with cardiac, EP, and neuro capabilities
Advanced Technology: Recently added an additional da Vinci surgical robot, Brainlab computer navigation system, AIRO mobile intraoperative CT, and Cirq robotic surgical arm - the first to bring minimally invasive robotic spine surgery to the Rio Grande Valley
