**Locums-to-Perm | Cardiothoracic Surgery APP | Clinic + Call | Fort Wayne, IN**
**Why This Role**
- High-acuity cardiothoracic program with diverse case mix
- Flexible 7-on/7-off scheduling model
- Opportunity for locums-to-perm transition
**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: Clinic + Call
- Start date: Mar 16, 2026
- End date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Mon–Fri 6:30a–4:30p + call; weekends + nights
- Setting: Inpatient ICU
- EMR: Cerner
**Clinical Details**
- 8–10 patients per day
- ICU, stepdown, and consults
- Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
- Rounding, consults, and patient management with some OR support
**Requirements**
- NP or PA with Cardiothoracic experience
- Active IN license or IMLC
- ACLS, BLS
- EVH experience required for PAs
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
