Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Previous Med Surg and/or telemetry experience preferred
- Strong cardiac monitoring and assessment skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult Med Surg and telemetry patients
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and report abnormalities
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Monitor vital signs and telemetry data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care planning
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
- Document care and patient status in the EMR
