Occupational Therapist (OT) — School-Based Contract (Jefferson City, MO)

Adelphi is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work with students who have severe disabilities in Missouri school settings. You’ll help students increase participation and functional independence by delivering services that align with their IEP goals.

What the assignment looks like

• Location: Jefferson City, Missouri (school setting)
• Facility type: School
• Contract: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027
• Schedule: School hours, Monday–Friday
• Service delivery: On-site and/or via teletherapy as needed
• Pay: $65/hour

What we’re hoping you bring

• Active Missouri Occupational Therapist license
• Experience with pediatric and school-based services is preferred
• Comfortable with IEP processes and familiar with IDEA
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Support development of fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and daily living tasks
• Provide consultation and classroom-based interventions to support inclusion and access
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and other professionals to coordinate supports
• Assist with IEP development, progress reporting, and required documentation
• Maintain accurate service logs and ensure compliance with school policies
• Perform other duties as assigned to support student success
