Join Adelphi as a Music Therapist serving students with severe disabilities across school sites in Missouri. You’ll work within each student’s IEP, bringing therapeutic music techniques into the classroom and collaborating with educators and support teams to help students meet their goals.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy
• Board Certification (MT-BC) required
• Experience with students ages 5–21 with severe disabilities is preferred
• Comfort with IEPs and IDEA regulations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

What you’ll do

• Deliver direct music therapy services aligned with student IEPs
• Use therapeutic music interventions to support students’ social, emotional, communication, and motor development
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and school staff to coordinate care and integrate therapy into the classroom
• Keep accurate documentation, service logs, and progress notes
• Help prepare IEP documentation and report on student progress
• Attend meetings, trainings, and consultations as needed
• Follow school policies and maintain student confidentiality
• Take on other reasonable duties as assigned
