Locum Tenens Cardiologist (Outpatient) — Billings, MT (Aug 2026 Ongoing)

Join a busy outpatient cardiology team in Billings, MT to provide supplemental clinical coverage. This locum tenens assignment starts Aug 3, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis. You’ll work primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM for 1–3 weeks per month, with one beeper night call per week (5:00 PM–6:00 AM) and a 20-minute response expectation. Typical patient load runs 11–18 patients per day, plus about 20 diagnostic ECHOs and 4 nuclear reads.

What you’ll do:

• Provide non-invasive cardiology services including ECHO, TEE and nuclear imaging
• Manage phone consults (about 3/day) and respond to beeper call as needed
• Collaborate with a small support team (1 RN, 1 office staff) and participate in the facility’s 24/7 STEMI coverage
• Maintain required hospital privileges and document in Cerner

Logistics and support:

• Facility: Outpatient setting in Billings, MT; associated with a Level I trauma center
• Coverage type: Clinical plus call
• EMR: Cerner
• Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance are provided

Requirements:

• Active Montana license or participation in IMLC
• BC/BE in Cardiology
• BLS certification
