Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
- At least 1 year of Med Surg and/or Emergency Department experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced settings.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
- BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required per facility.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, monitor condition changes, and document care accurately.
- Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and provide post-op/wound care.
- Triage patients, respond to emergencies, and assist with rapid assessments and interventions.
- Support trauma, cardiac, and critical patients according to emergency protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team for safe, coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain infection control, operate essential clinical equipment, and ensure a safe care environment.
