Requirements:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
- Experience in cardiovascular or perioperative surgery preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- BLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the CVOR environment, instruments, and supplies for surgery.
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields.
- Monitor equipment and ensure functionality throughout procedures.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
- Maintain accurate counts and document surgical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure smooth operations.
