Locum tenens opportunity providing hospital-based urology call coverage in Chambersburg, PA. Coverage is PRN beginning September 1, 2026, and ongoing. Primary responsibilities include 24-hour beeper call (7:00 AM–7:00 AM) covering general urology consults, emergency cases, and surgical coverage as needed across multiple sites with phone consult support.

Schedule and Coverage

• Coverage period: September 1 (7:00 AM)–September 8 (7:00 AM) and November 16 (7:00 AM)–November 23 (7:00 AM); ongoing PRN thereafter (approximately every 12–14 weeks).
• On-call shift: 24-hour call; average callback time is 10–12 hours per day.

Patient Population and Clinical Scope

• Patient mix: Pediatrics through geriatrics.
• Case mix: General urology and emergency urologic care.
• Rounding and phone consults provided as needed.

Facility and Support

• Hospital setting with 76 beds in the department.
• EMR: Epic.
• Standard hospital equipment available; no APP support.
• Reason for coverage: supplemental.

Credentials and Compliance

• Active Pennsylvania medical license required (willing to assist with licensing).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• DEA registration required.
• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available with clean file.
