Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Fredericksburg/Stafford, VA

We’re seeking a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage at inpatient facilities in Fredericksburg and Stafford, VA. This is a supplemental clinical role with ongoing coverage needed as soon as possible and includes in-house call (45-minute response time). Phone consults are required as needed.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver anesthesia care across a broad case mix: cardiac, complete orthopedics (complex orthopedic cases except open heart), complex vascular, neurosurgery (head and spine), OB, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases.
• Provide general, regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients.
• Manage ventilators and evaluate/ treat acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Perform perioperative and post-op pain management: postoperative epidurals, extremity blocks, and transforaminal (lumbar & cervical) procedures.
• Place central lines and pulmonary artery catheters as needed.
• Participate in clinical call coverage (schedule to be determined).

Facility and support

• Service setting: Inpatient at Level II Trauma centers.
• EMR: Epic.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be provided.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia license.
• Board certified.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ABLS, PALS.
