Join a team in Seaford, DE for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows a consistent schedule (Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and offers competitive pay: Travel rate $2,317/35 hrs or Local rate $2,282/35 hrs.

What you’ll need

• A valid, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function to determine diagnosis and severity.
• Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language skills.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing techniques and strategies.
• Recommend and support the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and exercises to reinforce progress.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on ongoing patient progress and outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, therapists, educators, and other team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely records including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Help patients generalize improved communication skills to everyday situations—home, school, and work.
• Stay current with professional best practices through continuing education and development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
