LPN/LVN Night Shift - Long Term Care (Peterborough, NH) - 11-Week Contract

Join a healthcare team in Peterborough, NH as a Licensed Practical Nurse for an 11-week, contract (non-travel) assignment starting ASAP. Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM on Sun, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat. Local rate: $1,400/40 hours.

Requirements:

• Active LPN state license
• BLS certification

What you’ll do:
Provide direct bedside nursing under RN/physician direction, including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, specimen collection, and vital sign monitoring. Perform focused assessments and contribute to individualized care plans. Document patient status, treatments, and medication administration accurately. Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care. Support patient comfort, mobility, and pain management, and respond appropriately to emergencies using established protocols. Follow infection control, medication handling, and safety procedures. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care, and when applicable, supervise CNAs/UAPs. Remain current with nursing best practices and complete other duties as assigned by management.
