Adelphi seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one nursing services for students with severe disabilities in Missouri school settings. In this contract role (Aug 1, 2026 – Jul 31, 2027), you will deliver nursing care per each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), support medical needs during the school day and transportation, and partner with school teams to promote a safe, effective learning environment.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care to assigned student(s) in accordance with the IEP
- Manage medical needs throughout the school day and during transport to/from school
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to care planning, and document progress
- Provide consultation and training to school staff as required
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and service records
- Review student medical histories and care plans to ensure safe, informed care
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and staffings
- Follow state regulations, school policies, safety standards, and abuse prevention/reporting requirements
- Coordinate with school administrators and adhere to assigned schedules; perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri LPN license in good standing
- Compliance with Missouri nursing regulations (Chapter 335 RSMo)
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary school teams
Preferred
- Experience with children and young adults (ages 5–21) with severe disabilities
- Familiarity with IEPs and IDEA regulations
