Facility: Inpatient setting (32 critical care beds: SICU, MICU, CVCU, CCU)
Assignment type: Locum Tenens — Supplemental coverage
Coverage dates: May 15–18, 2026
Schedule:
- Clinical shifts: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: Nights & weekends via beeper; 30-minute response time
Clinical duties:
- Provide consultative critical care services, including ventilator management and other pulmonary/critical care-related care
- Participate in rounding
- Expected patient volume: 20–25
- Admissions: 5–7 per day
- Phone consults: 2–3 per day
- Support: 2 APPs
- EMR: Cerner
Credentials:
- Active Alabama medical license or participation in IMLC
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine/Critical Care
- BLS and ACLS
Logistics:
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
