Charge RN — Perioperative (OR) | Contract Travel | Chico, CA

Join a perioperative team in Chico, CA as a contract Registered Nurse supporting charge responsibilities in the OR. This day-shift assignment begins ASAP, starts at 6:30 a.m., carries a 36-hour week, and pays $2,866/36-hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state as required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Prior perioperative/OR experience required
• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise daily OR operations, staff assignments, and case flow
• Provide direct perioperative nursing care as needed and act as a clinical resource for the team
• Ensure adherence to surgical safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary staff
• Assist with scheduling and respond to emergency situations to maintain efficient, safe patient care
