Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years operating room experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and OR procedures.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operative cases by anticipating needs.
- Perform surgical counts and assist with specimen handling.
- Clean, restock, and turnover operating rooms between procedures.
- Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
