Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide hands-on patient care in collaboration with RNs and physicians. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, compassionate care, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina
• BLS certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care including medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and vital sign monitoring
• Conduct patient assessments (physical exams, medical history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed treatments and ensure accurate dosing according to protocols
• Manage wounds and incisions; monitor for infection and complications
• Maintain precise documentation of patient status, treatments, and medication administration
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care
• Insert, monitor, and manage IV lines and urinary catheters; collect specimens for lab testing
• Support patient comfort, mobility, and pain management; respond effectively to emergencies using BLS protocols
• Follow strict infection control practices and safe medication handling, storage, and disposal
• Promote preventive care (vaccinations, screenings) and advocate for patient needs
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
• Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when applicable
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with nursing best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
