Requirements:

- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS; ACLS preferred
- Previous orthopedic, neuro, or acute care experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to orthopedic and neurology patients
- Perform focused neuro and musculoskeletal assessments
- Monitor post-operative patients and manage pain control
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Assess mobility, implement fall precautions, and assist with rehab goals
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on recovery and care plans
- Document assessments and interventions in the EMR
