Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN Supervisor Contract/Travel (Lamar, CO)

We’re looking for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a team in Lamar, Colorado on a contract travel assignment. This is a day-shift position (7a–7p) starting ASAP, offering $3,344 for a 36-hour week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the L&D unit, keeping patient care running smoothly.
• Coordinate staffing, manage patient flow, and handle unit assignments.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, supporting higher-risk cases and responding to obstetric emergencies.
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff, guiding practice and supporting professional development.
• Ensure care is safe, high-quality, and compliant with regulations and policies.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to escalate care when needed.
• Support staff education, performance reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license (valid for Colorado or multistate as applicable).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience is required.
• Prior leadership or charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership ability, and clear communication skills.
