Summary:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Emergency Room/acute care assignment. Provide urgent assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients in the ER.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in practicing state
- ER experience or acute care background preferred
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and communication
- BLS required
- ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Triage and assess patients on arrival
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocols
- Monitor patient status and report changes to physicians and care team
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and records
- Educate patients and families on treatments and follow-up instructions
- Participate in ER safety and quality improvement activities
