Travel Respiratory Therapist (C-RRT) — 13-Week Nights in Norfolk, VA | Competitive Pay & Benefits

Join a Norfolk, VA facility on a 13-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This position is scheduled Monday–Friday, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM. Pay: Travel $1,677/35 hrs; Local $1,652/35 hrs.

Required certifications and licensure:

• Active Respiratory Therapy state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Core responsibilities:

• Assess respiratory status, including lung function and oxygenation, and review medical history to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer therapies to relieve respiratory distress and improve pulmonary function.
• Manage and titrate mechanical ventilators and related equipment.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies following established protocols.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and self-care.
• Maintain, clean, and ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
