Join a locum tenens interventional cardiology team in Las Cruces, NM, providing inpatient and outpatient care to adult patients. This supplemental clinical assignment begins Jun 15, 2026 and is ongoing. Responsibilities include routine clinical work, rounding, and shared call coverage (STEMI and general) with a 1:4 call ratio; beeper response time is 30 minutes.
Schedule and coverage
- Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM shifts; nights and one weekend per month
- Phone consults: ~7–10 per shift
- Patient volume: ~7–10 patients per day
Clinical setting and support
- Facility: Level III trauma center; 22-bed cardiology department
- Service setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- Patient population: Adults
- EMR: Clinview/HMS
- Support staff: 3 medical assistants, 1 APP, 6 office staff
- Temporary privileges available

- Coverage type: Clinical + Call (supplemental)
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Requirements
- Active New Mexico medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in interventional cardiology
- ACLS and BLS
