Coverage: June 1, 2026 – Ongoing
Schedule
- Typical clinical shifts: Monday–Wednesday (most likely), 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Shift frequency: 2–3 consecutive days, ~2 weeks per month
- On-call: PRN
Patient Population & Volume
- Demographics: Adolescents and adults
- Volume: 20–25 patients/day
- Admissions: Yes
- Case mix: Routine OB/GYN clinic visits, labor & delivery involvement, and minor procedures
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide OB/GYN care in clinic and L&D settings
- Perform minor gynecologic procedures (see required procedures)
- Manage patient evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
Required Procedures
- Endometrial biopsy (EMB)
- Colposcopy
- Pessary maintenance
- Pap smears
Facility & Support
- EMR: Epic
- Equipment: Colposcope available or referral pathway
- Support staff: Clinic nurses (1–2 per provider), registration staff, Clinical Supervisor, Office Supervisor, Practice Manager
- Specialty backup: Not specified
Privileges, Credentialing & Compliance
- Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available on a limited, case-dependent basis
- Credentialing timeline: 60–90 days
- Vaccinations required (or approved exemption)
Qualifications
- MD/DO with Board Certified or Board Eligible status in OB/GYN
- Active PA medical license required (IMLC accepted)
- PA DEA required
- BLS required
