Nurse Manager (RN) — Full-Time Day Shift, Sitka AK (BSN Required)

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a nursing unit in Sitka, AK. This full-time, day-shift role runs Monday through Friday and is available ASAP. You’ll be responsible for guiding daily unit operations and supporting a team focused on delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of your assigned nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and staff performance.
• Ensure patients receive safe, evidence-based care and that clinical outcomes and quality metrics are tracked and improved.
• Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, and support staff competency and education.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and hospital leadership to coordinate care and uphold standards.
• Manage unit resources, budgeting needs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN required; MSN preferred).
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Several years of clinical nursing experience with prior leadership or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and a commitment to mentoring and developing staff.

Location and schedule:

• Sitka, Alaska
• Full-time, days (Mon–Fri)
• Start date: ASAP
